CatEdit là app chỉnh sửa video trên iOS, Android và macOS do Techxnix LLC ("chúng tôi") phát triển. Chính sách này cho biết dữ liệu nào chúng tôi thu thập, mục đích sử dụng và quyền của bạn.

1. Tóm tắt

Trên iPhone và iPad, bạn dùng được các công cụ chỉnh sửa mà không cần tài khoản. Trên Android và Mac, bạn cần đăng nhập để dùng app.
Video, ảnh và âm thanh của bạn ở trên thiết bị. Chúng chỉ rời thiết bị khi bạn tự đăng mẫu. Ảnh đại diện chỉ rời thiết bị khi bạn tự tải lên.
Công cụ Làm mịn nhận dạng khuôn mặt và cơ thể ngay trên thiết bị. Dữ liệu khuôn mặt không bao giờ rời thiết bị. Xem mục 5.
Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu, không hiện quảng cáo và không theo dõi bạn trên app hoặc website của bên khác.
Bạn xoá được tài khoản và toàn bộ dữ liệu ngay trong app hoặc tại trang xoá tài khoản.

2. Tài khoản

Trên iPhone và iPad, tài khoản là tuỳ chọn: bạn cần tài khoản để đăng mẫu, bình luận và theo dõi người khác. Trên Android và Mac, bạn cần tài khoản để dùng app. Bạn đăng nhập bằng một trong ba cách:

Email: chúng tôi gửi mã đăng nhập một lần (OTP) tới email của bạn.
Đăng nhập với Apple: Apple gửi cho chúng tôi một mã định danh, email (hoặc email chuyển tiếp ẩn của Apple) và tên nếu bạn cho phép.
Đăng nhập với Google: Google gửi cho chúng tôi một mã định danh, email, tên và ảnh đại diện.

Chúng tôi không nhận và không lưu mật khẩu Apple hoặc Google của bạn.

3. Dữ liệu chúng tôi thu thập

Thông tin tài khoản: email, tên hiển thị, tên người dùng (handle), giới thiệu ngắn, ảnh đại diện, phương thức đăng nhập.
Nội dung bạn đăng: mẫu (ảnh bìa, video xem trước, tệp dự án và media đi kèm), tiêu đề, mô tả, thẻ, bình luận, báo cáo vi phạm.
Hoạt động xã hội: lượt thích, lượt lưu, người bạn theo dõi, người bạn chặn, mẫu bạn đã xem.
Trạng thái mua hàng: gói Pro bạn đang dùng, ngày hết hạn và trạng thái tự gia hạn. Apple xử lý thanh toán. Chúng tôi không nhận số thẻ hoặc thông tin thanh toán của bạn.
Số đếm cơ bản: số lượt xem, lượt dùng, lượt thích của mẫu. Số đếm này không dùng để nhận dạng bạn trên app khác.
Bộ thương hiệu: phông chữ bạn tải lên, màu thương hiệu và kiểu chữ cài sẵn bạn lưu vào tài khoản.
Giọng Pro: câu chữ bạn gửi để đọc bằng giọng Pro, tệp âm thanh tạo ra và số ký tự đã dùng.
Dữ liệu kỹ thuật: địa chỉ IP và thời gian của request trong log server, dùng để giữ an toàn cho dịch vụ và chống lạm dụng.
Thống kê sử dụng của CatEdit: app gửi tới server của chúng tôi các sự kiện như mở app, tạo dự án, mở công cụ, hiệu ứng hoặc nhạc đã áp dụng, kết quả xuất video (độ phân giải, thời lượng, lỗi), kèm mã cài đặt app, nền tảng và phiên bản app. Khi bạn đã đăng nhập, sự kiện gắn với tài khoản của bạn. Chúng tôi dùng dữ liệu này để biết tính năng nào được dùng và sửa lỗi. Bạn tắt được trong Cài đặt › Chia sẻ dữ liệu sử dụng; khi tắt, app ngừng gửi cả thống kê này lẫn Firebase Analytics.
Thống kê và báo cáo lỗi: Firebase Analytics ghi sự kiện dùng app (ví dụ mở app, màn hình đã xem), loại thiết bị, phiên bản hệ điều hành, mã cài đặt app và vùng gần đúng suy ra từ địa chỉ IP. Firebase Crashlytics ghi báo cáo lỗi khi app bị dừng. Dữ liệu này không chứa email hoặc nội dung của bạn.

4. Dữ liệu chúng tôi không thu thập

Chúng tôi không đọc thư viện ảnh của bạn. App chỉ mở những tệp bạn chọn.
Video bạn chỉnh sửa và xuất ra ở trên thiết bị. Chúng tôi không tải chúng lên server.
Chúng tôi không dùng SDK quảng cáo, không dùng mã định danh quảng cáo (IDFA trên iOS, Advertising ID trên Android) và không theo dõi bạn giữa các app.
Chúng tôi không thu thập vị trí chính xác, danh bạ hoặc dữ liệu sức khoẻ.
Bản ghi âm giọng nói (lồng tiếng) được ghi và lưu trên thiết bị. Chú thích tự động, xoá nền và các tính năng tương tự xử lý ngay trên thiết bị.

5. Dữ liệu khuôn mặt và cơ thể

Công cụ Làm mịn (làm đẹp da, chỉnh hình khuôn mặt, trang điểm, chỉnh cơ thể) và các tính năng xoá nền, tự động đóng khung cần biết khuôn mặt và cơ thể ở đâu trong ảnh. Để làm việc này, app xử lý dữ liệu khuôn mặt như sau:

Dữ liệu nào: vị trí khung khuôn mặt và các điểm mốc trên khuôn mặt (đường viền mặt, mắt, lông mày, mũi, môi), các khớp cơ thể và mặt nạ người/nền trong các khung hình của video hoặc ảnh bạn tự chọn. Đây là toạ độ số, không phải ảnh khuôn mặt. App không nhận dạng danh tính, không so khớp khuôn mặt với người nào, không tạo mẫu sinh trắc (faceprint) và không dùng Face ID.
Xử lý ở đâu: hoàn toàn trên thiết bị của bạn, bằng Apple Vision (iPhone, iPad, Mac) hoặc MediaPipe (Android). Trên Android, app tải tệp mô hình từ server của chúng tôi; ảnh và video của bạn không được gửi đi.
Mục đích: chỉ để vẽ hiệu ứng bạn chọn lên khung hình khi xem trước và khi xuất video. Không dùng cho mục đích nào khác.
Chia sẻ: không. Dữ liệu khuôn mặt không được gửi lên server của chúng tôi, không gửi cho bên thứ ba, không dùng cho quảng cáo, thống kê hoặc huấn luyện mô hình. Khi bạn đăng mẫu, tệp mẫu chỉ chứa giá trị thanh trượt bạn đã chọn, không chứa dữ liệu khuôn mặt.
Lưu trữ và thời gian giữ: kết quả nhận dạng được lưu tạm trong thư mục bộ nhớ đệm của app trên thiết bị để không phải nhận dạng lại cùng một tệp. Dữ liệu này bị xoá khi bạn bấm Cài đặt › Xoá bộ nhớ đệm, khi hệ điều hành dọn bộ nhớ đệm, hoặc khi bạn gỡ app. Chúng tôi không giữ bản sao nào ngoài thiết bị.

6. Mục đích sử dụng

Tạo và giữ tài khoản, đăng nhập và bảo vệ phiên đăng nhập.
Hiện mẫu, trang cá nhân, bình luận và thông báo cho bạn và cho người dùng khác.
Mở khoá tính năng Pro theo gói bạn đã mua.
Kiểm duyệt nội dung, xử lý báo cáo và chặn tài khoản vi phạm.
Gửi email chứa mã đăng nhập và email cần thiết về dịch vụ. Chúng tôi không gửi email quảng cáo.

7. Nội dung công khai

Mẫu bạn đăng, bình luận, tên hiển thị, tên người dùng, giới thiệu và ảnh đại diện là công khai. Mọi người xem được chúng trong app và trên web (ví dụ trang mẫu và trang tác giả). Email của bạn không công khai.

8. Bên thứ ba xử lý dữ liệu

Chúng tôi chỉ chia sẻ dữ liệu với các nhà cung cấp cần thiết để chạy dịch vụ:

Google Cloud: chạy server và lưu tệp (mẫu, ảnh đại diện).
Apple: Đăng nhập với Apple và thanh toán gói Pro qua App Store.
Google: Đăng nhập với Google.
Resend: gửi email chứa mã đăng nhập.
Google Firebase: thống kê sử dụng (Analytics) và báo cáo lỗi (Crashlytics).
Cloudflare R2: lưu phông chữ thương hiệu và tệp âm thanh giọng Pro.
ElevenLabs: đọc câu chữ bạn gửi bằng giọng Pro. ElevenLabs chỉ nhận câu chữ, không nhận email hoặc tài khoản của bạn.
Railway: lưu trữ cơ sở dữ liệu.

Các nhà cung cấp này chỉ xử lý dữ liệu theo chỉ dẫn của chúng tôi. Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu cá nhân. Chúng tôi chỉ cung cấp dữ liệu cho cơ quan nhà nước khi pháp luật yêu cầu.

9. Thời gian lưu giữ

Chúng tôi giữ dữ liệu tài khoản và nội dung trong thời gian tài khoản còn hoạt động.
Dữ liệu khuôn mặt và cơ thể chỉ nằm trong bộ nhớ đệm trên thiết bị của bạn (mục 5). Chúng tôi không lưu chúng trên server.
Khi bạn xoá tài khoản, chúng tôi xoá ngay tài khoản, mẫu, bình luận, lượt thích, lượt theo dõi, ảnh đại diện và các phiên đăng nhập. Bản sao lưu được xoá hết trong vòng 30 ngày.
Mã đăng nhập qua email hết hạn sau 10 phút. Log server được giữ tối đa 30 ngày.
Thống kê sử dụng của CatEdit được giữ 180 ngày rồi tự xoá. Khi bạn xoá tài khoản, chúng tôi xoá ngay thống kê của tài khoản và của các bản cài app đã đăng nhập tài khoản đó.
Firebase giữ báo cáo lỗi 90 ngày và thống kê tối đa 14 tháng. Dữ liệu này không gắn với tài khoản của bạn.
Chúng tôi có thể giữ thông tin tối thiểu về vi phạm nghiêm trọng (ví dụ lệnh cấm) lâu hơn để ngăn lạm dụng, hoặc khi pháp luật yêu cầu.

10. Xoá tài khoản và quyền của bạn

Bạn xoá tài khoản và toàn bộ dữ liệu theo một trong ba cách:

Trong app: trên iPhone và iPad, mở Cài đặt › Quản lý tài khoản › Xoá tài khoản. Trên Android, mở tab Tôi › Xoá tài khoản. Trên Mac, bấm ảnh đại diện › Xoá tài khoản. Sau đó xác nhận.
Trên web: mở catedit.techxnix.com/delete-account, đăng nhập rồi xác nhận. Trang này cũng liệt kê dữ liệu bị xoá và dữ liệu được giữ lại.
Qua email: gửi yêu cầu tới support@techxnix.com từ email của tài khoản. Chúng tôi xử lý trong vòng 30 ngày.

Xoá tài khoản không huỷ gói Pro. Để huỷ gói Pro, xem mục "Gói Pro" trong Điều khoản sử dụng. Bạn cũng có quyền xem, sửa hoặc nhận bản sao dữ liệu của mình. Gửi yêu cầu tới support@techxnix.com. Bạn sửa được tên, tên người dùng, giới thiệu và ảnh đại diện ngay trong app.

11. Bảo mật

Dữ liệu đi qua kết nối mã hoá HTTPS. Phiên đăng nhập dùng token có thời hạn. Không hệ thống nào an toàn tuyệt đối, nhưng chúng tôi luôn cập nhật biện pháp bảo vệ.

12. Trẻ em

CatEdit không dành cho trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi. Chúng tôi không cố ý thu thập dữ liệu của trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi. Nếu bạn biết một trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi đã tạo tài khoản, gửi email tới support@techxnix.com. Chúng tôi sẽ xoá tài khoản đó.

13. Chuyển dữ liệu quốc tế

Server và nhà cung cấp của chúng tôi có thể đặt ở ngoài quốc gia của bạn, bao gồm Hoa Kỳ. Chúng tôi áp dụng cùng mức bảo vệ trong chính sách này cho dữ liệu ở mọi nơi.

14. Thay đổi chính sách

Khi thay đổi chính sách, chúng tôi cập nhật ngày hiệu lực trên trang này. Nếu thay đổi quan trọng, chúng tôi báo cho bạn trong app trước khi thay đổi có hiệu lực.

Privacy policy

CatEdit is a video editing app for iOS, Android and macOS made by Techxnix LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, and the rights you have.

1. Summary

On iPhone and iPad, you can use the editing tools without an account. On Android and Mac, you need to sign in to use the app.
Your videos, photos and audio stay on your device. They leave it only when you publish a template. Your profile picture leaves it only when you upload it.
The Retouch tool detects faces and bodies on your device. Face data never leaves your device. See section 5.
We do not sell data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
You can delete your account and all of its data inside the app or on the account deletion page.

2. Accounts

On iPhone and iPad, an account is optional: you need one to publish templates, comment and follow other creators. On Android and Mac, you need an account to use the app. You can sign in with:

Email: we send a one-time sign-in code (OTP) to your email address.
Sign in with Apple: Apple sends us an identifier, your email (or an Apple private relay address) and your name if you allow it.
Sign in with Google: Google sends us an identifier, your email, name and profile picture.

We never receive or store your Apple or Google password.

3. Data we collect

Account information: email, display name, username (handle), short bio, profile picture, sign-in method.
Content you post: templates (cover image, preview video, project file and bundled media), titles, descriptions, tags, comments and reports.
Social activity: likes, saves, who you follow, who you block, and templates you viewed.
Purchase status: your Pro plan, its expiry date and renewal status. Apple processes all payments. We never receive your card or payment details.
Basic usage counts: view, use and like counts of templates. These counts are not used to identify you in other apps.
Brand kit: fonts you upload, brand colors and text presets you save to your account.
Pro voices: the text you send to be read by a Pro voice, the audio made from it and the characters used.
Technical data: IP address and request time in server logs, used to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
CatEdit usage statistics: the app sends our server events such as app opens, project creation, tools opened, effects or music applied and export results (resolution, duration, errors), with an app installation ID, the platform and the app version. When you are signed in, these events are linked to your account. We use them to learn which features are used and to fix problems. You can turn this off in Settings › Share usage data; when it is off, the app stops sending these statistics and Firebase Analytics.
Statistics and crash reports: Firebase Analytics records app usage events (for example app opens and screens viewed), device type, OS version, an app installation ID and an approximate region derived from the IP address. Firebase Crashlytics records a crash report when the app stops. This data does not contain your email or your content.

4. Data we do not collect

We do not read your photo library. The app opens only the files you pick.
Videos you edit and export stay on your device. We do not upload them to our servers.
We do not use advertising SDKs or the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), and we do not track you across apps.
We do not collect precise location, contacts or health data.
Voice recordings (voiceover) are recorded and stored on your device. Auto captions, background removal and similar features run on your device.

5. Face and body data

The Retouch tool (skin smoothing, face reshaping, makeup, body reshaping) and features such as background removal and auto reframe need to know where faces and bodies are in the picture. For this the app processes face data as follows:

What data: the position of the face box and facial landmark points (face outline, eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips), body joints and a person/background mask in the frames of the video or photo you picked. These are numeric coordinates, not images of your face. The app does not identify anyone, does not match faces to people, does not create a biometric template (faceprint) and does not use Face ID.
Where it is processed: entirely on your device, with Apple Vision (iPhone, iPad, Mac) or MediaPipe (Android). On Android the app downloads model files from our server; your photos and videos are not sent anywhere.
Purpose: only to draw the effect you chose onto the frame in the preview and in the exported video. It is not used for anything else.
Sharing: none. Face data is never uploaded to our servers, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising, analytics or model training. When you publish a template, the template file contains only the slider values you chose, not face data.
Storage and retention: detection results are kept temporarily in the app's cache folder on your device so the same file is not analysed again. This data is deleted when you tap Settings › Clear cache, when the operating system reclaims cache space, or when you delete the app. We keep no copy outside your device.

6. How we use data

To create and maintain your account, sign you in and protect your session.
To show templates, profiles, comments and notifications to you and to other users.
To unlock Pro features for the plan you bought.
To moderate content, handle reports and ban accounts that break our rules.
To send sign-in codes and essential service emails. We do not send marketing emails.

7. Public content

Templates you publish, comments, display name, username, bio and profile picture are public. Anyone can see them in the app and on the web (for example on template and creator pages). Your email address is never public.

8. Third-party processors

We share data only with the providers we need to run the service:

Google Cloud: server hosting and file storage (templates, profile pictures).
Apple: Sign in with Apple and Pro payments through the App Store.
Google: Sign in with Google.
Resend: delivery of sign-in code emails.
Google Firebase: usage statistics (Analytics) and crash reports (Crashlytics).
Cloudflare R2: storage of brand fonts and Pro voice audio files.
ElevenLabs: reads the text you send with a Pro voice. ElevenLabs receives only the text, not your email or account.
Railway: database hosting.

These providers process data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

9. Retention

We keep account data and content while your account is active.
Face and body data exists only in the cache on your device (section 5). We never store it on our servers.
When you delete your account, we immediately delete the account, its templates, comments, likes, follows, profile picture and sessions. Backups are fully purged within 30 days.
Email sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
CatEdit usage statistics are kept for 180 days and then deleted automatically. When you delete your account, we immediately delete the statistics of the account and of the app installations signed in to it.
Firebase keeps crash reports for 90 days and statistics for up to 14 months. This data is not linked to your account.
We may keep minimal records of serious violations (for example a ban) longer to prevent abuse, or when the law requires it.

10. Account deletion and your rights

You can delete your account and all of its data in any of these ways:

In the app: on iPhone and iPad, open Settings › Manage account › Delete account. On Android, open Me › Delete account. On Mac, click your avatar › Delete account. Then confirm.
On the web: open catedit.techxnix.com/delete-account, sign in and confirm. That page also lists the data we delete and the data we keep.
By email: send a request to support@techxnix.com from your account's email address. We complete it within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription. To cancel it, see "Pro subscriptions" in the Terms of use. You may also ask to access, correct or export your data by writing to support@techxnix.com. You can edit your name, username, bio and profile picture directly in the app.

11. Security

Data travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Sessions use short-lived tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep our safeguards up to date.

12. Children

CatEdit is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email support@techxnix.com and we will delete it.

13. International transfers

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States. We apply the protections in this policy to your data wherever it is processed.

14. Changes

When we change this policy, we update the effective date on this page. For significant changes, we notify you in the app before they take effect.
